Frequently asked questions:

1. What makes your meatballs so special?

- Few things can beat the comfort and sensory satisfaction of a good meatball dinner!  Just like grandma's kitchen Chuckie B differentiates his signature meatballs with love.....Every meatball is hand rolled and mixed with fresh ingredients.   Although we can't reveal his secrets,  there's a lot of great stuff that goes into the mixing bowl! Once you've tasted Chuckie B's made from scratch meatballs, you'll be coming back for more......

2. What meat do you use to make your meatballs & how big are they?

- For the most tender, melt in your mouth meatballs, Chuck uses a  custom blend of Certified Angus Top grade Beef, Pork & Veal (known to some as the "Holy Trinity").  It goes through the grinder twice making it butter soft and oh so delicious! All our meatballs are 2.5 ounces which is the perfect size for a meatball sandwich or a plate of spaghetti!  No skimpy whimpy meatballs here........

3. What type of tomato do you use for your homemade sauce?

 - What's better than a meatball all tangled up in a fabulous red sauce?!?We pride ourselves on our homemade sauce to compliment Chuckie B's signature meatballs.  Although we can't reveal all our secrets,  we use a custom blend of peeled Italian Tomatoes and peeled San Marzano Tomatoes all mixed up with our secret blend of fresh herbs and spices.  Some people have even commented Chuck's sauce makes the meatballs!

4. Where do you make your meatballs?

- Although the original meatballs were created in our home kitchen, we are ready for prime time and are fortunate to have signed on at the Artisan Exchange in West Chester.  It is a fully functional commercial kitchen and also offers a weekly market on site.

5. How often do you make your meatballs?

-  That depends on how many orders we have......Alison and I think fall is Peak Meatball Season with football and tailgates coming, our meatballs travel well and many take them on vacation to the beach or the mountains also.  This summer we were just ramplng up and perfecting the recipes.  So far we typically found ourselves in the kitchen 2 times a week, but we certainly will go more often  if the orders are big for any given week!

6. How are the Gluten-Free Meatballs made?

- Chuck follows all the protocols of gluten free cooking when making his gluten free meatballs and sauces.  We have a few family members with Celiac disease and gluten sensitivity and we know how important it is to make sure everyone can enjoy a safe and delicious meal.  All gluten free meatballs are made using a  gluten-free seasoned breadcrumb and no batches are commingled in the ovens pots or containers.
